Here is a money saver. If you know some one that works in a shop / factory that has product stored on skids. Well the parts are striped down my nylon straps. They have to cut them off my tin strips to remove them off the skid. They just trash the straps. The straps are strong and light . You can cut them with a band saw , or tin snips to make the width smaller. I use them on my Foam planes for the leading edge. Then I don't need any Carbon rods to make the wings strong. The size I have is .4 inch by .02 inch. See attached picture. Hope this will save some one some cash . Just some Info. Attachments:

Yeah, this is cool. Makes me wanna do a whole plane out of recycled material. Love this site.
